The Viksit Bharat Quiz will be organised at Mata Sundri College for Women with the objective of engaging students in an informative and interactive activity centred on the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. The quiz will familiarise students with India’s development journey, achievements, policies and future aspirations across areas such as economy, education, technology, infrastructure, governance, sustainability, innovation, youth participation and India’s global role.
The initiative will encourage students to develop greater awareness of contemporary national priorities and their role in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. Through a competitive yet educational format, the programme will promote knowledge, critical thinking, civic awareness and active youth participation.
Event Report
The Viksit Bharat Quiz 2027 was organised by the NSS Unit “Parivartan”, Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, on 9 September 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Conference Hall of the college, as part of the Viksit Youth Leaders 2027 initiative. The programme focused on promoting youth participation in nation building and enhancing students’ awareness of India’s development, governance, democracy, achievements and contemporary national priorities. Students were guided through the participation process on the My Bharat platform, including the selection of the appropriate NSS category, Central Delhi and College option. NSS volunteers actively supported student mobilisation, registration assistance and coordination. The enthusiastic participation of students reflected their interest in national development initiatives and responsible citizenship. The programme successfully provided a knowledge-based and engaging learning experience, encouraging students to develop greater awareness of India’s development journey and the role of youth in building a developed and self-reliant nation. It also reinforced the NSS values of leadership, social responsibility, community participation and active citizenship.
